We are ecstatic to announce that we are the winner of Wharton India Start-up Challenge (WISC) held on the 9th of January 2021 by the Wharton India Economic forum.
Wharton India Start-up Challenge(WISC) is an annual event hosted by the Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF). In this event, the startups have to pitch a presentation and a question and answer session by audience and judges. It is one of the most prestigious challenges for a startup in India. Winning this requires some serious smarts, innovations, and a proven ability to overcome challenges, and generate unconventional insights.
Since the inception of WISC, it has grown immensely and has been a successful platform for many startups. Previous winners of the event have raised over $50 million in funding from over 20+ institutional investors.
When we talk about the 2021 year event, more than 500 companies across India have applied to test their luck and win a whopping prize money of $10,000/-. Out of those applications only 10 were selected to present their pitch to the judges.
The 2021 Jury consisted of seasoned stalwarts from the VC industry – Aditi Gupta (VP, Stellaris Venture Partner) of Stellaris Venture Partners, Prasun Agarwal (Partner, A91 Partners), Pratik Agarwal (VP, Accel), Shuvi Shrivastava (VP, Lightspeed India), and Tej Kapoor (Co-Executive President, Fosun RZ Capital).
